How to Enrol 

The following gives a guide on how to enrol in both award (towards a qualification) and non-award (professional development) courses. For additional information please contact Alex Pudmenzky at CMLR or view the University of Queensland Enrolment Guide.

Enrolling in a postgraduate degree (award student)

A application for admission must be approved before you can enrol electronically on SI-Net

  1. You will need to fill out the application for enrolment form
  2. Provide documentary evidence of tertiary studies or relevant work experience. Please attach complete, officially certified statement(s) of academic record of all tertiary level studies undertaken, except those undertaken at UQ. Photocopies must be certified by a Justice of the Peace or by the home institution.
  3. Submit form and documentary evidence to Alex Pudmenzky, Centre for Mined Land Rehabilitation, University of Queensland, St Lucia QLD 4072 AUSTRALIA
  4. After approval for admission is granted, you will be sent an enrolment pack in the post containing your UQ login name and password to enrol yourself via SI-Net in the courses of your choice. Please note enrolment will not be confirmed until all details have been entered on SI-Net, and all fees are paid. Further information is available on http://www.uq.edu.au or by email admin@epsa.uq.edu.au
  5. Payments can be made online through the SI-Net site or by phone by BPay with your banking institution (further information on SI-Net). You can generate invoices and receipts from this site. 
  6. Be sure to check due dates for payments and enrolling deadlines.

International award students wishing to enrol, please follow this link

 Enrolling for professional development of single course (non-award student) 
         
Domestic and International

A non-award application must be approved before you can enrol electronically on SI-Net

  1. Print and complete  the non-award application form 
  2. Provide documentary evidence of tertiary studies or relevant work experience. Please attach complete, officially certified statement(s) of academic record of all tertiary level studies undertaken, except those undertaken at UQ. Photocopies must be certified by a Justice of the Peace or by the home institution.

Cross-Institution Enrolments

Other Uni -> UQ
You can enrol for credit towards your degree if you are studying at another University. You must obtain permission from your home institution first, then submit the cross-institutional application for enrolment form.

UQ -> other Uni
If you are studying at UQ and wish to enrol at another university please use the cross-institutional-outgoing application form instead.
