  • Ecophysiology of native plant species, especially water relations, photosynthesis and growth
  • Plant responses to environmental stresses
  • Effects of atmospheric pollutants on plant function and plant communities
  • Forest ecology and silviculture
  • Biological monitoring of air pollutants
  • Development and application of environmental standards
