Technology transfer

Education and Training in Best Practice of Environmental Management in Mining.

The transfer and adoption of technologies developed through the research programs and expertise of the staff and students are a key component of the CMLR’s activities. Education and training programs are tailored to cater for the specific needs of the client, covering all aspects of environmental management for mining.

Programs consist of classroom, laboratory and field components to give participants an understanding of the principles and practices of environmental management in a mining situation. Programs have been conducted for industry, research and government sectors from Australia, China, Vietnam, Indonesia and India.
